Tips & Tricks: Kitchen Edition

EASY WAY TO PEEL POTATOES!


Boil potatoes in water until they are cooked through (time depends on size.)
Remove from water and place in a dish with ice and water for 5-10 seconds.
Then take them out and pull the skin off with your hands!
Don't believe me, TRY IT!!

HOW TO THAW MEAT FAST!



Take you meat out of the freezer and fill up your sink with luke-warm water.
Leave the meat IN THE BAG and place in the water.
Flip the bag once or twice to thaw all the way through.
Ta-Da!! Unfrozen meat (after about 10-30 mins.)

FRESH HERBS GONE BAD


This one is easy!
Go to your local freezer section near the veggies & pick up some frozen herb cubes!
I have seen a few brands out there but my FAVE is Dorot!
You can keep them in your freezer for months!
They have garlic, cilantro, basil & MORE!
